Birchbox April: Springtime!

Shut up. Just shut up.

I opened my Birchbox packaging this month and saw that the box was made from Rifle Paper Co. and just about died with excitement. I think my dog still has some hearing loss from all the squeeling!

I 'heart' Rifle Paper Co so hard.

I'm not over it.

I've had a few POP beauty palettes come in my Birchbox over the years I've had it. However, this palette is my favorite (Peach Parfait Color Trio). It's very on point for this spring and you'll likely be seeing a palette put together by me in an upcoming joint post with! Look for it!

The Harvey Prince Yogini perfume was not my favorite. I really disliked the smell. It was too clean for me, but hey, if you're someone who likes a clean smelling eau de toilette, this might be the one for you.

I have an obession with cleverly named things. Not Soap, Radio's line of body wash are stupid clever and I love them, I'm going probably going to buy them. All of them. Just for the bottles. The one I got in my Birchbox is "Bathing with sharks (for that competitive edge in work and/or play." If you think for one second that I'm even going to care what it smells like, you're wrong. I'm not. For good measure, you must know the rest of the names. They include:

"The stuff that cupid dips his arrows in (because sometimes fate needs an assist)"

"Bubbles, not carbs (where there is willpower there is less to weigh)"

"When life gives you one too many lemons (and you've misplaced your happy place...)"

"The Phoenix (when you need to rise from the ashes, yet again)"

"Liquid Freud (when you need to turn up the volume on your inner voice of reason)"

"To sleep full of sweet dreams (without waking up in a mad panic at 3am)"

"Awash in a field of four-leaf clover (when you need good things to happen-yesterday)"

The Fekkai Soleil Beach Waves Tousling Spray is hands down the best beach waves spray I've tried to date. I have stick straight ultra-fine hair and getting it to do anything except sit flatly on my head is a challenge. This is the only tousling spray I've used that almost gets that beach-head look.

Finally, high-five to Cynthia Rowley for the best Highlighter/Illuminator on the market. This has become a staple! It's got a slightly pink tint which helps it to blend into your skin tone rather than sit on your cheek bones like you've rubbed white chalk on them.

Of the items I received, I'll be purchasing the Fekkai Tousling spray, the Cynthia Rowley Illuminator, and of course the entire line of cleverly-named body wash for the names alone.
