Q1 Beauty Favorites!

As you've probably guessed, these are some of my Q1 Beauty Favorites! It's interesting because one of these I absolutely do not use any more because I've rediscovered a past favorite and I'll note that below. Here we go...

1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Brightener #LongestNameEver. This has been a blog favorite for quite a while now, but I feel as though it deserves mentioning again. I recently turned Meg from MyMonoChromaticLife.com onto this and she also loves loves loves it. It's slightly pink to combat dark purple circles under your eye.
Helpful tip: This works great as an eyeshadow primer as well. Apply this to your eye lids and under eye. Then blend in with finger tips.

2. Moo.com Business Cards: As an entrepreneur it's important to have business cards. I use these for my yarn business and it doesn't get any better than this. Nice, substantial, beautiful business cards at a lovely low cost. They even make mini cards which I've used for a promotion the last 6 months or so and they work great!

3. Reveal Pour Homme by Calvin Klein: I did an entire blog post on this for Influenster.com here. Let me tell you, it's amazing. I've since purchased a full sized bottle for Brian and love it on him. I have yet to try Reveal Pour Femme but soon I think. Very soon.

4. Full Exposure Mascara by Smashbox:  Love this stuff. It's just the right consistency for my eye lashes and the fact that it has extensions in the formula is pretty awesome. It does have a tendency to be a bit messy if you're not careful, but do your makeup with plenty of light and you'll be fine.

5. Always Sharp Kohl Eyeliner by Smashbox in Nude: A nude eyeliner can do a lot for you! I remember watching an episode of the Tyra Banks Show.....wha???? Remember that? And she mentioned that using white eyeliner would make the eyes pop. So, I believe every female from the ages of 16 - 25 tried it and it was a distaster. Enter Nude Eyeliner. With some practice you can apply this to your waterline or just beneath your lash line and it will offer some much needed contrast for you.

6. ScandalEyes by Rimmel London: I received a full sized stick of this in my Frosty VoxBox and I've got to be honest. It's really been a mainstay. It's a kohl liner and therefore goes on like a good mix between gel and a traditional liner. You can get some hella awesome smoke with this puppy. Just use a smudge stick.

7. Read My Lips by theBalm: I received a sample size of this in my February Birchbox. You guys, I hate lip gloss. I hate it. But I like this one. It's not too sticky, has decent staying power and is a great shade. Will it make it into my beauty box permanently...the jury is still out, but I liked it and have used it enough to put on my quarterly faves.

8. Seriously, I'm Kidding....by Ellen Degeneres: Get the audiobook. Hilarious. Inspirational. And read by the woman herself.

9. Now Foods Lavender Essential Oil: I used this essential oil in everything (hint: even my mascara to act as a natural anti-bacterial agent). I firmly believe everyone should have a bottle of this in their house for general use. You can also use it as an acne blemish fighter as well.

10. MAC Pro Pallette: You can customize your own colors within the MAC spectrum. It's perfect and as personal as you can get with makeup. I firmly believe everyone should do this. For those who don't know about MAC Pro Pallettes, check out MACCosmetics.com to learn more!

11. Viking in a Vinter Vonderland by OPI: This is part of their nordic collection. Everyone knows about O.P.I nail polish and everyone loves them. I love this color. I'm actually wearing something very similar now, but I got this for Christmas and have loved every second of it.

12. AVA Hair Conditioner: Since creating this collage, this leave-in conditioner has had a fall from grace. While it's still fantastic, it has been replaced by the Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle available on Birchbox.com. Not only does it smell awesome, but it works like a charm.

And that's it! What were some of your Q1 Favorites? Leave a comment below to discuss!
