Birchbox Man: June/July

Birchbox Man: June/July

I've decided to combine Brian's Birchbox reviews into two months at a time. I didn't want the blog to get too birchbox heavy...if that's makes sense.

Anyways, the last two months have been winners for Brian. He really really liked the Davines MOMO Shampoo and Conditioner. That was his big win. It's got a lovely scent, and does the job. He also really loved the Happy Feet Socks. Birchbox sent two pair, but after looking at both (black and white polka dots and purple/green argyle) Brian promptly gave me (the non-sock wearer) the black and white polka dots and kept the argyle. Not of a fan of the polka dots apparently.

The only thing he didn't like out of the whole group was the Supergoop! Sunscreen which (surprise) I didn't like either. I promise I didn't influence his decision on this at all. Well, maybe a little, but come on, we're married. He never listens to me.

Brian has yet to try the Hanz de Fuko Claymation hair paste or the Das Boom Everywhere Lotion. There's a few reasons for this. 1) He's very particular about the type of hair product he uses and 2) He uses whatever lotion I have handy when he asks for it, so unfortunately, I'm not sure either of these products will be tested, but they look great.

The Billy Jealousy Triple Crown and English Laundry Riviera were big hits as well. Ladies, let me just take a moment and tell you, the Triple Crown smells like man. Like good smelling man. You know what I'm talking about. I love it. And the Riviera is fantastic. In fact, when I grabbed the bottle I scoffed and thought, "Pssh. Of course it's English Laundry." Really, English Laundry can do no wrong in my books. I have yet to find a smell that I don't like.

In a turn for the random, Birchbox included a Cell Phone Case from Adopted. This is a really nice case. Brian is terrible on his phones, so unfortunately, he won't use it (he uses the OtterBox Super Duper Prema-Tuff One, that's definitely not what that's called but it's linked there....), but I think we may have just found a stocking stuffer for a friend of ours.

*after completing the links in this post, I realized that I do not have a number two in this list. Apparently, the number two is just not the number of the day.
