I'm absolutely obsessed with the warm/brown/pink eyeshadow colors that have been coming out as of late so when Maybelline came out with their Blushed Nudes Palette I knew I had to pick it up.
It does not disappoint.
Hands down, the loveliest pinks in my collection. One of my favorite things about this particular palette is that it can really go either way. Yes, it's obvious to go for a warm look with this palette, but with some of the darker brown mattes and that lovely highlight, you could pull off a cool look!
Fun fact, after looking around the interwebs, I've stumbled across a lot of reviews which compare this to the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette. I do not own the Naked3 palette, however, I do know that the colors run nearly the same. As for the quality, both Urban Decay and Maybelline have great pigmentation, however, I do feel like the Urban Decay may have just a little more pigment in their lighter/highlight shades which edges their palette out ahead by just a smidge.
I wish that Maybelline named their shades cause it would be easier to tell you my favorite shades, but for now, just pretend that the top row are shades 1-6 and the bottom 7-12. I'm not going to lie, the first shade is just not doing it for me. I feel like I get a much better highlight from the shimmer in the PurMinerals Secret Crush Palette than I do with this one. However, everything else is a-mazing. If you're in the market for a good budget-conscious palette, I would highly recommend this one.
