Old Navy Kinda Nailed It

I'm not normally a shopper at Old Navy anymore. I outgrew that when I was about 18 and haven't looked back since, however, remembering how awesome Patriot-Heavy 4th of July wear was, I decided to bop in and check out what's up.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Old Navy nailed it for Summer 2015.

Old Navy Nailed It

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven

The first thing that caught my eye was the Printed Slip Dress in Carnival for the fun print. Ladies, I'm here to tell you that plus-sized ladies can rock a print. And I mean rock it. This dress has a great print for a great price.

The Graphic V-Neck Tanks and Side-Knot Tees are general summer-essentials. I really really prints on the graphic tanks. You can tell that whoever is buying for Old Navy tried to think out of the box, literally and figuratively. The High-Neck Top in Bright Peony is fantastic and can be dressed up or down. PS It also comes in black, which is likely the color I will be getting because well, it's black.

Another dress that caught my eye was the Drawstring-Waist Shift Dress which comes in Bright Peony or a Black Print. The print I'm not entirely fond of, but the dress itself looks like a super comfortable, sporty style for an everyday look. I think adding a jacket would dress it up enough for a casual dinner as well. Very very nice.

Then there's The Pixie Ankle Pants in Navy Floral. Ladies and gents, this is a game changer. Look at those pants, they are absolutely stunning. I will be stopping at my local Old Navy tonight and picking up a pair for vacation. Glorious.

And finally, the Printed Gauze Kaftan is a great swimsuit coverup. I really, really like this and the print. It's classy and fun and, of course, black, which helps it tremendously in my opinion.

So there you have it. Old Navy's surprisingly good Summer 2015 line. I will definitely be checking in from time to time to see how they're evolving. So far, so good.
