Football + Beauty

So, this happened.

All right, let me back up. This happened a while ago and I didn't say anything about it until now because there was a lot of controversy about Covergirl doing a game face thing right after the domestic violence issue last season and someone got clever with Photoshop...and it just wasn't good.

But we're all adults here right? We know that Covergirl is talking about getting amp'd for the new football season, right!? RIGHT!?

Last night I managed to miss my first preseason football game (which the Packers won against the Patriots) and after I was done crying (because I had completely forgotten about it) I started to get amp'd for regular season. Then this Covergirl line popped into my mind and I've got to tell you, I'm all about it. For all 32 teams Covergirl has created a look. My personal favorite?

GO PACK GO

But really, truly, all of the looks are impressive. As you can see, Covergirl has selected specific products from the line up in order to create this look, and really, I'm not sure you could get a more brilliant marketing angle. Lady football fans nationwide will be swarming the Covergirl.com website to pick up their items and I'm not ashamed to admit that I am part of the swarm.

Whoa. Keep it civilized ladies.
