M-A-C Attacks!

I went to the mall in order to get some pie beads on Saturday and as I walked up the stairs I saw this bright and shiny store with lights that twinkled and fun and...oh my goodness it was MAC. I can't even...

I walked in thinking lip liner and walked out with lip liner, lipstick, and two eye shadows.

Let's talk about it...

Confession: I've never used a lip liner. I know, right? I decided a while back that it was time to get on board. The lady I was talking to immediately reach for the MAC Pro-Longwear Lip Pencil in 'In Control'. Having been able to try it, I must tell you, I love it. We all know how great these Lip Pencil's are so I don't need to go into it, but this color is really the best. It's very close to my natural shade of lip, which means it can go under all different shades.

The two eye shadows are cult favorites cranberry and antiqued. They both go fantastically together, and are fabulous apart. Cranberry is exactly how it sounds with a good amount of shimmer in it while Antiqued is another one of those great neutral shades that would go well with a nude look, or a warm smoky eye.

The lipstick is MAC Viva Glam II. Not only is it a pretty decent nude lipstick, but the lady at MAC referred to it as a mixer shade. Essentially, you can mix it with any shade and it will give the sheen of satin and color of the lip stick you're using. I'm especially excited to try this with some less expensive long lasting lip sticks like the Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipcolor which are great, but a bit smudgy.
