Some of you may have seen this Instagram post (shesleaningin) over the weekend and I promised I'd write a review so let's get to that, shall we?
First of all, I have to say this sheet mask is really wet. Like really wet. I actually ended up laying down while it was on my face because I kept feeling like it was slipping off my face. For me, this wasn't a big deal because I welcome a required moment of rest, but others may have been bothered by it.
I really loved how cooling this mask was. No joke, it felt like I had put cooling gel on my face and it was fabulous.
The mask says to keep it on for 15 minutes and then massage it into your face, so, after the rehired time, I went ahead and peeled the mask off and began massaging. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that my skin felt so soft and some breakouts had already cleared.
By the next day, I could tell that the mask had really done a great job pulling some breakouts that were on their way to the surface towards the surface.
Unfortunately that means that I did end up with a patch of breakouts. I'm anxious to see if I use this mask on a weekly basis of that issue goes away.
All in all, I actually did like this mask. It wasn't the best thing in the world, but it left my skin feeling clean, hydrated, and matte. If in the coming weeks it can stop my breakouts it will be a winner.
The verdict is out on this one. I'll be sure to let you know which way it goes when I finally decide.
Do you have a good mask for oily/acne prone skin? Let me know in the comments below. I'd love to know what you use!!!
