Voluminous Lashes in 2 Steps

If you've been watching my Snapchat (add me @ shesleaningin1) you've seen me snapping and raving away about the new(ish) L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara. I've been using this for a month or so now, and this baby is a beauty. I naturally have a decent amount of lashes and they have some pretty good length. But this! This....

This takes my lashes from natural, to basically falsies without the glue. There's been a slew of mascara's with primers or just mascara primers on the market recently all of which I've stayed away from until I saw this 2 in 1 job.

Step one, as labeled, is the primer which goes on white and gives your lashes the coveted 'lift and separate' combo we all love. One of the most innovative things about this mascara is the fact that the brushes are different. As you can see (although the picture's a little out of focus, sorry) the brush for the primer is an hourglass shape.

And now you see that the mascara portion has the swoop. Something I don't hear a lot about with this mascara is the fact that this is actually a fiber mascara. Meaning that there are little extenders in the mascara that give the lashes even more dramatic length. Between the primer and the mascara my lashes literally look like I've applied falsies. Maybe not very thick falsies but subtle falsies nonetheless. And that my friends, is the dream.
