Mousse-y Foundation for the Ages

I have oily skin. Like super oily skin. I think I may have mentioned it before. Ok, I may have mentioned it a few times.

Regardless, I've been searching for a good foundation that didn't leave me feeling like a total grease monkey for ages. I tried high end, drugstore...everything. Then I tried the Boots Botanics Color Adjusting Foundation and fell in love.

This is a very thick foundation that provides medium to full coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. I find that my skin definitely has a perfected look that I hadn't gotten from previous foundations. It is actually quite luminous on the skin, which is surprising since it's so good on oily skin. I recently tried the L'Oreal Lumi Foundation which is known to be pretty much amazing and it straight up did not work for me. I apply this with the Real Techniques Foundation Brush but can't wait to try it with a Beauty Blender. I need a new one...and haven't repurchased a new one.

Unfortunately, this foundation doesn't come with a lot of color options (I'm in the color Soft Sand 030). I believe there's a lighter, darker, yellower and that's about it. I was worried when I purchased this that it would be too dark, but it actually ends up looking very natural on my skin.

So, if you're in the market for a new foundation, give this one a try.
