I don't know if you noticed...but there was no post on Monday. I'm sorry. It was President's Day weekend, and there was a lot going on, and yada yada, excuse, excuse. It wasn't until early Monday morning that I remembered that I didn't have a post for Monday and for that, I apologize.
Enough of that, and on to today which is a brief summary of what's currently residing on my nightstand. Although, this may be changing relatively soon (I'm on the search for a new skincare regime and may have found one...) these are currently my every night.
This routine starts after I remove my makeup and cleanse.
To begin with, I have very oily, acne-prone skin so applying some sort of spot treatment is required for some semblance of clear skin. I've been using the Burt's Bees Spot Treatment for a while and it works pretty okay. Not great. I do notice that a long of the texture I normally see goes down when I'm using this, versus not using it. I did a post talking about it in depth here.
Next, comes a dark circle treatment that took me a long time to get in to. Benefit Cosmetics is very hit or miss for me and I'm not going to lie it's mostly miss. But the It's Potent! Eye Cream is actually pretty good. After about 2 weeks of using this every night I did notice a difference. My dark circles were definitely lighter, but not completely gone.
The L'Oreal Revitalift Night Creme is my favorite item in the entire routine. Well, mostly favorite. That spot is shared with the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. When I started using the Night Creme my skin was a bit dull, and in about two days there was a noticeable difference in the overall look of my skin. It was brighter, and even a bit tighter. Not that I really need a whole lot of firming right now, but it's done a little something for my skin and I like it.
The lip mask is amazing. This instantly hydrates my lips and is the only the thing I use after I wear super-drying, long lasting lipstick. If you have any sort of dryness on the lips and want something that actually works, try this stuff.
Finally, the EOS Sweet Mint Lip Balm is my favorite lip balm .I do like these more than other lip balms but nothing works like the Agave lip mask.
And there you have it, a current run down of what's on my nightstand. Let me know what your nightstand looks like! I'd love to hear about them!
