Creating a Mixtape + H54F No. 39

On Monday, Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine posted her life-long mixtape and I just about died. How great is that idea!? So today's High Five for Friday goes out to Andrea with the greatest idea of all time.

Without further ado, I present to you, my version, of her fabulous post, 'My Life as a Mixtape.'

1. Greased Lightning from GREASE
2. Rumor Has It by Reba McEntire
3. Check Yes or No by George Strait
4. I Like It, I Love It by Tim McGraw
5. One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men
6. Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio
7. I'll Never Your Break Your Heart by Backstreet Boys
8. I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys
9. Freak on a Leash by Korn
10. Bye, Bye, Bye by NSYNC
11. Toxic by Britney Spears
12. The Reason by Hoobastank
13. Konstantine by Something Corporate
14. Love in this Club by Usher
15. Helena by My Chemical Romance
16. Hum Hallelujah by Fall Out Boy
17. Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal
18. All I Want To Do by Sugarland
19. Fast by Jason Aldean
20. Beautiful Drug by Zac Brown Band

Here's a few tid bits about my list:

-Greased Lightning is the first song I can remember playing over and over again...on my parents 8-track player. Not sure what an 8-track player is? It was before cassette players...I'm so old.

-One Sweet Day and Gangsta's Paradise were on the very first CD I ever purchased. The 1996 Grammy Nominee's...I'm so old.

-I was team BSB all the way, until I wasn't...note #10.

-I've always preferred a man's voice over a female's. This is shown, over and over in this list.

-Love in this Club was my jam back in my partying days. If I could kick that girls butt I would.

-I went to England to visit my friend while she was living there, and it ended up completely changing my life. Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal played non-stop.

-Konstantine is hands down the most influential song in my life and it is the song I listen to when the absolute worst is happening.
