First off, let me apologize for the massive brain fart I had on Friday. If you are wondering what I'm talking about, I had no post Friday with like no explanation. In fact, I didn't even realize it was missing until about 1pm. Perfect.
So for today, we're going to discuss my latest and greatest fall beauty must haves. At least two of these are out of stock right now, but sit tight! They'll be back!
When I think fall, I think bronzed, highlight, but subdued a bit from summer. I also think about purples, berry's, and those toasted warm matte shades we all love so much.
To be honest, you only need one palette this season and that palette is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette from Too Faced, which was limited edition last season, and who's game is so strong, they brought it back for this season. There's nothing you can't do with this palette and it smells delicious. The price tag is only $36 and it will be one of the best palette's in your collection.
If you're feeling like you may want more variety in your eyeshadow game, then check out the Modern Renaissance Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. This has brought us to our first out of stock item, but it's worth the wait I assure you.
The right kind of highlight/bronzer in my opinion is found in a horribly expensive option, which I have raved about here before and that is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Radiant Light, aka, our second sold out option. Again, it's worth the money and the wait. Consider it a two-for-one kind of deal. A highlighter and a bronzer.
Other ancillary items that you should have for fall is a great blush, great eyeliner, and the best lipstick. The Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon Pop is the greatest blush for fall because it's pink enough, but not overly like BLUSH. Does that make sense? I absolutely love the color of Mr. Bing eyeliner from Colourpop but I'm not in love with the formula. It's a bit stiff for me, but if you can deal with it, it's highly recommended.
And finally, the lipstick for fall is a drugstore option! Maybelline's Gone Greige is the best thing since sliced bread. It's brown, and gray, and fall, and neutral, and perfect. I absolutely love it. The price tag of somewhere around $8 makes it a total steal and the formula is one of my favorites.
