This year is going to be a bit different, some friends of our have a great Halloween set up outside and I'll be chilling with them handing out candy and having a great time. Thankfully, I had some time to plan out the outfit (which believe me is nothing extravagant) but it made me think: what would I grab, last minute, in order to slay at my get together?
Consider that question answered:
I think the easiest way to look great on Halloween with no time to spare is to go gothic-witch. You don't need warts, you don't need a hat, just a black shirt, black pants, and good makeup.
The most essential thing is a good black lipstick. You've heard me rave about the Maybelline Loaded Bolds before, so it should be no surprise that my go to black would the that in Pitch Black. The next thing I'd go for would be a good mini eyeshadow palette.
I really love the little L'Oreal Color Riche Quads (this one is in the color: Lilac). For halloween it's go big or go home, so I'd start with the second color from the top in my crease and then start blending everything down to the most darkest all over the lid. Use the top to highlight the brow bone and inner eye. Tip: After you dip your brush in the shadow, spritz it with water or Mac Fix+ (if you have it) to finish the look off.
You'll also need a bangin eyeliner and handsdown the best one at the drugstore is the Maybelline Studio Effects 3D Gel Liner. This is a cult classic for a reason. Not sure you can pull off the gel liner? When in doubt, smoke it out.
Finish the eye look off with some good lashes from Ardelle. These are the Natural Lash Number 120 and are a good way to add some pop to your eye look.
Every makeup look needs a highlight and for this goth look a white highlighter is a good choice. I haven't tried this specific highlighter by Makeup Revolution, but I have tried a different version of the highlighter and it was fantastic. This is the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters in Radiant Lights.
Finally, teased that hair out ladies. Tease it until it stands up straight and my favorite drugstore Dry Shampoo to help with that is the Tresemme Dry Shampoo. Grab it, spray, and tease it until it stands.
That's it! Hopefully this list helps you out with whatever your Halloween needs are! Have a great and safe Halloween!
