A few Friday Favorites

Isn't that the prettiest picture? It's like the perfect picture for late fall, where you're going to see bare trees but random pops of green. Unless you're in Southern California where it's still 85 degrees and you're wondering why you choose to live here...

Actually, I'm not wondering, I'm counting the days till I leave...

For today's post I thought, hey, it's been a while since I've done a Friday Favorites, so why not? And I've got some oldies but goodies in there so let's check it out.

First of all, I took a break from Starbucks for about a year. When I say "break" I don't really mean a "break" I mean, I deleted the app and generally decided it wasn't worth the calories. Well, recently, I've been able to enjoy a few Pumpkin Spiced Latte's and then realized that they have a mobile ordering option.  Oh. My. God. The best thing ever. Try it.

I was recently pursuing my Spotify list and stumbled on the 10th anniversary of My Chemical Romance's "Welcome to the Black Parade" album entitled The Black Parade and just about died. It's got the entire album on it and a few demo's. Also, I can't believe it's been 10 years since that album came out.

Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop collection has been in stores for a while, but I finally got around to grabbing one of her splits in Prosecco Pop and Amaretto. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I've found it.

A few weeks ago a new Tim Burton film dropped called Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. This was based on a book and was completely different but still good. I decided to read the book prior to seeing the movie and ended up reading the whole trilogy. It was pretty good! Grab it at Amazon for cheaper than at Target.

Finally, I don't know about you but this time of year, I get excited for the dumbest thing on TV: Punkin Chunkin. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you don't know what you're missing. These are serious feats of engineering with which Neanderthals (much like myself) try to throw pumpkins the longest distance. It. Is. Awesome. So awesome, that when we figured out that it's only 50 minutes away from my bestie, Brian and I scheduled a vacation for next year to attend the event. So excited.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!
