I know I said I wasn't going to post today...well I lied. I just updated my playlist with my favorite Disney songs! Give it a listen!

Let's take a break from Christmas music and switch it up. Here are my favorite Disney Songs of all time!

Cruella De Vil : 101 Dalmations This song is so jazzy, and was really the first jazzy song I learned on the piano. Lyrically, it's brilliant as well...."you come to realize, you've seen those kind of eyes, watching you from underneath a rock...."

Les Poissons : The Little Mermaid Hands down, my favorite Disney song. It's one of those obscure songs, that never made it to be super famous, but this is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Every time...EVERY TIME...I prepare fish, I sing this song. I can't help it.

In Summer : Frozen I would be remiss if I didn't include something from Frozen in this list. It truly is a musical masterpiece. While the mega-hit "Let it Go" is great, my favorite song is this song by Josh Gad, who is vocally pretty impressive.

I'll Make a Man Out of You : Mulan I have memories of 7th grade Geography when my teacher would let us listen to music while we worked on a project. This song came on and everyone sang it. Everyone. You can't help it. It's a great song.

Gaston & Gaston (Reprise) : Beauty and the Beast Gaston is one of my favorite Disney characters, period. I know, he's a villain, but he's just such an egotistical jerk I can't help but love him and his cleft chin a bit. Beside who doesn't laugh at the line "Le Foo I'm afraid I've been thinking...A dangerous past time....I know...."?

You're Welcome : Moana I have yet to see this movie, but the soundtrack is fantastic. I mean, it's Lin-Manuel Miranda...surprised? Me either. But this is Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" singing and rapping and it's hilarious and full of character. Instantly one of my favorites.

Do You Hear That?/I Wonder : Sleeping Beauty It was this song that made me want to sing well enough to become a Disney princess someday. The vocals are just astonishing. So crisp. So clear. So well done. I mean, it's Tchaikovsky so it shouldn't be a surprise, but really, Mary Costa was fantastic.

Belle : Beauty and the Beast This is one of those songs that I can't help but sing along to. It's great and very clever in it's construction.

Reflection : Mulan Great song. The Christina Aguleria happened and I was all...seriously? But the soundtrack version of this song is really fantastic and is another sing a long for me.

The Music Lesson/Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale, etc... : Cinderella This song has the longest title ever. What really gets me about this song is when Cinderella comes in after her awful step-sister is singing. It's so refreshing and so much of a lullaby to your ears. Another one of those musically shaping moments in my life.
