Cream eyeshadows and I are having a moment. I only own this one from Beauty For Real which is good, but I'm really in the market to get some high end ones. What do I like about cream eye shadows versus powder? The ease of doing your makeup in the morning.
I'm not going to lie, since becoming pregnant, things in my morning routine have changed. Some for the good (wink wink breakfast) and some for the "what's the easiest way to make me look decent". My makeup routine, has fallen by the wayside a bit. If it's not quick and easy, I'm not into it.
A couple weeks ago, I reached for an eyeliner and accidentally pulled out the cream eyeshadow stick and it's been love ever since. All I do is swipe it a few times on each lid, grab my MAC 217 and give it a quick blend and voila! That's it. I should probably be using a primer underneath it. Tomorrow I'll start using my NARS ProPrime Smudgeproof Primer which is the best primer in the history of the world.
The Armani Eye Tints have been on my to-be-purchased list since they came out in 2015. Why haven't I gotten them you may ask? Because it was a cream eyeshadow, and I wasn't sure if I liked cream eyeshadows. I'm sure now. The Mac Paint Pots are a cult-classic so there's not much explaining needed there. As for the Charlotte Tilbury and the ByTerry? These are super high end, and blend beautifully. Finally, the Laura Mercier was a final addition, truly, because I needed five, but I do remember hearing decent things about this stick and I'm willing to give it a go.
Let me know your favorite cream eyeshadows! I'd love to know! Happy Weekend!
