Welcome to Friday everyone! Thank goodness we made it. I used this gif in a text to a friend and thought it might be appropriate for finally Friday. This week has been full of growth...lots of growth...as in I no longer fit in my pre-pregnancy pants, even with the band. Sigh. And here we go...
I love a good beauty post as much as the next girl. The Small Things Blog did this post on things she's been looking at and there are definitely a few gems in there.
As I was going through some things, I stumbled across my Write the Word Journal from Lara Casey. This is a great way to read some of the bible and take a moment each day to journal. They're currently out of stock, but I emailed the company and they responded that they're coming out with new versions this spring. I would assume around Easter, but that's not anything they said, I'm just assuming. BTW, if you've never browed the Cultivate What Matters website, you should. It's a good one.
I tried to read Jane Eyre this week. Tried. And failed. I just can't get into it if it's not Jane Austen.
Brian and I tried this recipe from Chef Emeril Lagasse for Broccoli Cheddar soup. It was Delicious with a capital D. It wasn't even that hard though, but it does take about an hour to make. (PS those croutons are not the ones in the recipe, we cheated.)
The umbrella from my Wednesday post came in and it's amazing. I love that it's inverted and it's just so pretty. I've gotten so many compliments already. If you're in the market, or even if you're not, just get one. It's amazing.
