Superbowl Weekending

Hi everyone! Sorry about the lack of post on Friday but Thursday was just a tough day for me, and I didn't actually make it to 7pm without falling asleep. Needless to say, after a nice weekend of rest, I'm back at it.

This weekend was great because Brian was home. On Saturday we went shopping for some maternity clothes for me. I had ordered some leggings from Old Navy and they came WAY too big, I do not recommend trying all. It's like they took plus sized leggings in a size 4 or 5, sewed a panel on the belly and called it a day. Newsflash: That's not how pregnancy works. Old Navy fail.

After returning the leggings, we went up to Destination Maternity which was a total win! I walked in, was greeted by a lady there who asked what I needed (which I thought was appropriate because maternity shopping isn't about what you want, it's about what you need). I told her and in no time at all, I had 4 pairs of pants and a pair of maternity leggings waiting for me in a dressing room while I shopped around.

For lunch we stopped at an old favorite: Famous Dave's. Unfortunately, this Famous Dave's is nothing like the real Famous Dave's from Minnesota. I mean, it's good, and it was good, but it was different. If we didn't know any better, we'd have thought it was really good, but we did, so it was decent, but not a place we'll be heading back to. Plus it was way more expensive! Crazy.

I came home to this lovely package. I ordered the cream eyeshadows on my cream eyeshadow wishlist and not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but I was blown away by the packaging and the samples!! Look for a post on Wednesday about what I got. Get excited.

And, I finished this amazingly cute elephant this weekend. It's supposed to have tusks, but it just seems like way too much work to actually put them on. Plus, I need to sew some eyes on, which I'm going to do with black embroidery thread.

CLOSING TIDBIT ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL: I loved that Gaga didn't have guest stars. For a second, I thought Beyonce was coming out....but then she didn't...and I was so happy. Hooray for a decent half time show.

Enjoy the week!

Linking up with B Loved Boston to tell about my weekend!
